Switching Web Hosting Providers
While the title is a bit wordy, moving your website, email and domains from one web host to another is really a simple process.
It does however require some of your time and patience. If you don't want to invest the time, it is recommended contacting the
web host that you are moving to and asking them if they can perform the migration for you. Most good web hosts will do this.
The process has been broken the process down into four sections:

Your website, email and databases won't be actively accessed on the new host until step 4, when the DNS and domain names are transferred. It is strongly recommended if your website stores information in a database based on visitor interactions or allows your visitors to submit content to the database, that you disable the entire website and put up a maintenance page during the switching process.
